With an increasing number of countries adopting the DAB digital radio standards and with a large proportion of radio listened to in cars, it is essential that the international automotive and radio broadcasting industries join together to ensure the move to digital is a straightforward and smooth transition.
The 3rd WorldDMB Car Manufacturers' Workshop, 'Digital radio, the future for connected cars', provides a platform for discussion and collaboration by stakeholders to focus on three key areas:
• The international development of the DAB family of standards
• How the DAB family helps to create the connected car
• The DAB family as the Europe wide digital radio solution
