There are ten audio programmes on air (three DAB+ and seven DAB from existing public and commercial broadcasters), and scrolling text as well as EPG have also been demonstrated to interested parties. The Auckland transmission site has recently been upgraded to a 1Kw service and now provides coverage to the majority of the greater Auckland City region. Kordia is looking to infill the Auckland CBD coverage area and demonstrate more value-added services as part of ongoing engineering and consumer trials. Kordia is actively working with Government departments to enable the allocation of identified spectrum for a commercial deployment.
