A DAB trial has been on going in Kuwait City since March 2007. Eight audio programs are broadcast from Liberation Tower on Band III, covering almost the whole country. This test led by Kuwait Radio could evolve into T-DMB and DAB+ trials in the coming months. A decision may be taken on a commercial roll out.

Following on from a DAB trial that has been ongoing in Kuwait City since March 2007, preparations are now under way for the second phase of the trail. This may include either DAB+ or DMB. The current trial is led by Kuwait Radio and broadcasts six audio programmes from Liberation Tower on Band III, covering almost the whole country. A decision regarding commercial roll out is expected once all the trials have been completed.
