The current deployment of digital radio is planned for December 2010 in Paris, Nice and Marseille. After this three scenarios have been suggested and there will be a meeting in the coming weeks to decide on the appropriate plan and coverage of the remaining areas in France.

In France the trials (see below) licensed by the CSA cover around 20% of the population, mainly in the Paris area (five multiplexes) and Lyon (one multiplex). In addition to these audio services, there are also two Motorway Radio trials in certain areas.
